VertNet classic portal

The VertNet classic portal searches most of the data currently available on MaNIS, HerpNET2, ORNIS and FishNet2 through a classic DiGIR portal.

The VertNet classic portal is based on the same architecture as the classic thematic portals (MaNIS and ORNIS) to provide data across the four vertebrate groups. A new VertNet portal is under construction and a beta version will debut mid-July 2013. A major goal for VertNet is to improve the search function and provide new visualization tools. As we are still in development, we welcome your input and questions.
